Academia TLC, Torrevieja Language Centre, is an academy dedicated to teaching languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Valencian. In 1999 we started teaching English and Spanish for foreigners and little by little we have been expanding our language offering. Our teachers are qualified, highly experienced native instructors. We offer courses for children from 3 years, teenagers and adults focusing on language proficiency.

Hello! My name is Paula Fantini Ferroni and I am the director of Torrevieja Language Centre.
I set up TLC 20 years ago with the mission of incorporating culture with communication in languages. I manage the school but I am also active in teaching. When I am not teaching I love reading, doing sports and travelling.
David Burgess
Hello! I am from Brighton in England. I was educated in the UK, USA and Japan. I have taught English for over 35 years. I love animals and have 3 dogs. Travel is also a passion. I have visited more than 40 countries.
Simón Frazer
My name’s Simon. I am from Scotland. I have been working as an English language teacher for 20 years and during that time I have worked in the UK, Sweden and Spain. I have been here in Torrevieja for 3 years and during this time I have been working in TLC concentrating on preparing students for the Cambridge B1, B2 and C1 exams.

Hi! I am Julie. I am from Torrevieja but I lived in England. I specialize in teaching the young learners. It is amazing how much they learn and so enthusiastically in such a short time!
